Career Counseling
Our Career Counseling staff offers:
- Career counseling for NON-students, available for a one-time $75 fee. This fee covers unlimited counseling and access
to all career assessment instruments used at the Center.
- Career counseling for enrolled students includes individualized career exploration and planning.The student must be attending
classes at the time of counseling, with at least 6 cr. hrs.. Career assessment utilizes
the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. These assessments
are available for a fee of $20 each. Call 901-678-5305 for an appointment to see a
career counselor and set up testing.

- Career Encounters - A Career program designed for students to explore their career interests by visiting
a local employer on-site.
- Topical workshops and outreach programming for faculty, classes, and campus organizations
(See also the Educational Support Program page for seminar and test preparation information.)
In addition, the University of Memphis offers career assistance and resources for
students and alumni throught the office of Career Services located at 400 Wilder Tower.
Career Services are provided in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the American
Counseling Association and the American Psychological Association.
