Greetings to the Shelby County and Memphis community!
Applications are being accepted now for Summer 2013
Review of completed applications in process
We are thrilled to be able to bring to you MemphisCRESH 2013; a unique opportunity
for our students and parents to get a glimpse of the cutting edge research that is
conducted at the University of Memphis, College of Arts and Sciences. We have graduated
the first group of MemphisCRESH Scholars and are now looking forward to teaching,
training, and nurturing the second group of these talented and bright individuals.
From cancer research, to solar energy, to materials for space applications, last year’s
scholars (2012 posters) had the opportunity to work alongside undergraduate and graduate students and contributed
to the scientific advancement of the research group that they were affiliated with.
We would like to take advantage of this opportunity and thank our dedicated Faculty,
administrators, parents, and above all our young scholars for demonstrating a commitment
and passion for science and knowledge. With your support, we hope to continue this
exciting endeavor for many years to come and continue to emphasize the importance
of a solid scientific foundation for our youth and its impact on the health, wealth,
and success of our communities.
I look forward to meeting our 2nd generation of MemphisCRESH Scholars.
Sincerely
F. Sabri
