College Research Experience for Students from High School

The University of Memphis | Summer 2014

Who?

High school sophomores and juniors interested in pursuing a major in physics, chemistry, math, computer sciences or any other departments in the College of Arts & Sciences that the program recommends.

How much?

The cost to participate in this program is $1,500 per student.  Students may apply for partial or full financial assistance. Consideration for scholarships is based on merit.

What next?

Memphis CRESH is a highly competitive program and only has a limited number of spots. Submit your application, essay, and three letters of recommendation.

What?

Memphis CRESH is a college research experience.  Students will be paired with a faculty member from their chosen department and work alongside them and university students in labs on campus during the summer before their junior or senior year.

When?

Monday, June 9, 2014 through Friday July 18, 2014

Where?

University of Memphis, Main Campus

Why?

To gain firsthand experience in cutting edge research and perhaps even discover your college major.  You could even attend an undergraduate conference to present your work.  Make your college application stand out from the others!
