Membership for Household Members
Household Memberships are available to students, employees, alumni, retirees, and community members who are members in good standing of Campus Recreation Intramural Services (CRIS).
Household Membership Application Process
The sponsoring member must be present along with his/her sponsored member in order to submit an application and purchase a Household membership. This membership type includes two adults who live in the same household and dependent children ages 21 or younger. Required documentation will be recorded by CRIS staff and returned to the provider. Issues concerning validity of documentation will be subject to review by CRIS.
In order to enroll as an adult household member, sponsoring and sponsored members are both required to provide two of the following current (recent and/or unexpired) documents showing the same address as each other:
- Jointly held mortgage or lease
- Utility bill
- Insurance bill or card with address
- Tuition bill
- Jointly filed federal tax return
- Driver's license
- Credit card statement
- Bank statement
- Payroll check
- Phone, Internet, or cable bill
Dependent children who are under the age of 21 and under the legal guardianship of a CRIS member are eligible for inclusion in parent/guardian's Campus Recreation membership. Accepted documentation for dependents includes a birth certificate or evidence of legal guardianship. Dependent children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times during visits at CRIS. Children under 14 are not permitted in weight, cardio, whirlpool, steam, or sauna rooms.
