Fitness Programs

Personal Training - Buddy Sessions

For only $20 per person, per session, you and a friend can work out together with a certified personal trainer. Up to four participants can work out together during each session. Open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.

Free Fitness Assessments

Our fitness assessment will determine your current fitness level and help shape the direction to take in developing a new exercise routine. *It's free for all full-time students and members, so we recommend getting one before beginning your exercise program and periodically (every 3-4 months). After each assessment you'll receive a printout of your results showing your fitness rating compared to national norms. Based on your results, we'll follow up with a brief consultation to provide more fitness tips and guidance. For those serious about improving their fitness level, we recommend scheduling an appointment with a personal trainer to give you more detailed direction.

Assessments may be tailored to each individual's needs.  Recommended measurements include the following.

  • Body Fat
  • Body Composition
  • Flexibility
  • Cardiovascular Strength
  • Blood Pressure

We hope you'll take advantage of this helpful service, because it is a key element in your fitness plan. A health screening is required prior to having an assessment.  Significant health concerns may prohibit certain fitness measurements.

Assessments are available by appointment only. Contact 901.678.1383 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
