A fitness assessment is a great way to determine your fitness level to help you decide
what direction to take in planning your exercise routine. We recommend that you get
a fitness assessment prior to beginning your exercise program and then again periodically
every 3-4 months. At the conclusion of each assessment you will receive a printout
of your results showing your fitness rating compared to national norms. A brief consultation
will then provide you with general direction concerning an appropriate plan of action
based on your results. For those serious about improving their fitness level, we
recommend scheduling an appointment with a personal trainer to give you more detailed
direction.
Assessments may be tailored to each individual’s needs. Recommended measurements
include the following.
- Body Fat
- Body Composition
- Flexibility
- Cardiovascular
- Strength
- Blood Pressure

A health screening is required prior to having an assessment. Significant health
concerns may prohibit certain fitness measurements.
