CROW Special Events
Not only is CROW dedicated to conducting research that matters, we are also dedicated to sponsoring events on campus that highlight
women's contributions to our community, and featuring events which focus on issues
that affect the lives of women and girls everywhere.

On Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 6pm in the University Center Theater at the University
of Memphis, CROW and almost 50 local organizations will observe the 40th anniversary of Roe V. Wade.

On Friday, April 27, 2012, CROW, African and African American Studies, and the Department
of History celebrated 30 years of the Center for Research on Women, and 100 inspirational
women that made a difference to the UofM. Take a moment to read through the list of honorees and view images of the night!

The Center regularly hosts research forums for women scholars to present their work
in a public forum. These events provide the University community and the general public
with an opportunity to learn more about the scope of scholarly research being conducted

Smart women crave good company. That's why CROW provides female faculty and administrators
at the University of Memphis with an opportunity to socialize, meet new colleagues,
and discuss topics of interest and relevance to women in academia.
