The Master of Public Health Program at the University of Memphis integrates academic
rigor with real world solutions to promote healthy communities and environments, prevent
chronic disease, and protect against disease spread. Our focus addresses urban and
global health concerns, as well as advocacy for the underserved. The MPH Program has
five areas of study: biostatistics; epidemiology; environmental health; health systems
management; and social and behavioral sciences.
MPH students are diverse. They have various backgrounds: medicine, nursing, dietetics,
psychology, education, biology, chemistry, engineering, computer science, journalism,
exercise science, social work, and others. But they share a common feature: a passion
for making a difference.
A separate application, in addition to admission to the University, is necessary for
admission to the MPH program. To access the MPH application please go to http://www.memphis.edu/sph/mph/apply.php.
