The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) with a concentration in Adult Education is designed for individuals seeking to enter academic professions or advance in fields such as business and industry, health related occupations, community and non-profit organizations. 

The Adult Education concentration prepares students to educate adult learners and promote lifelong learning. Graduates with this degree work as health, religious, or community educators; human resource developers; directors of staff development and training in organizations; and as adult and family literacy specialists. By working in these capacities, graduates of the Ed. D. program in Adult Education help adult learners achieve their academic and professional goals.

The Ed. D. program in Adult Education requires attendance on campus for one week during the summer.
