Don't Forget...

Some UMOnline courses are synchronous, meaning students may be required to be online at a particular day and time, or may be required to attend on-campus class meetings or orientations.

Be sure to read ALL FOOTNOTES in the class schedule when enrolling in online classes so you will be aware of permit restrictions, special fee structures, and additional campus requirements.

There are unique fees for UMOnline (M50, U50) classes. Students pay a $100/credit hour online program fee, but do not pay many of the fees charged to on-campus students. Also, UMOnline course fees do not “cap out” at 12 hours. Students pay for the total number of hours in which they are enrolled, even when that exceeds 12 hours. Be sure to consult with your financial aid counselor or scholarship administrator for payment guidelines.

The University of Memphis online courses are delivered through eCourseware. We strongly recommend all online students review our course software guides that describe the various features of the course management system.

Users may login directly to eCourseware, or login via myMemphis and take advantage of single sign-on for numerous UofM authenticated online services.

Once class starts, go to eCourseware to enter your user name and password and log-in to your course.

If you have technical difficulties accessing your course (logging in, timing out, using your course tools) call the Help Desk at 901-687-8888 or go to the Helpdesk to submit a service request.
