UM Online are online courses developed by University of Memphis faculty for University of Memphis students. These complete degree programs include: Other programs are currently being developed. Some UM Online courses are synchronous, meaning students may be required to be online at a particular day and time, or may be required to attend on-campus class meetings or orientations. Be sure to read ALL FOOTNOTES when enrolling in online classes so you will know exactly what is required of you in terms of attendance and travel to campus. Out-of-state students who are enrolled in a completely online UMOnline degree program qualify for our out-of-state scholarship, making is possible for you to take online courses at in-state tuition rates. There are unique fees for UM Online (M50) classes. Students pay a $100/credit hour online program fee, but do not pay many of the fees charged to on-campus students. Be sure to consult with your financial aid counselor or scholarship administrator for payment guidelines. --Fire Science Degrees at a Distance Program (DDP) do not qualify for out-of-state scholarships. The DDP program is an online degree program sponsored by the National Fire Academy with course curriculum developed by the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) Network.
