The Center for Advanced Sensors (CAS) addresses military needs by conducting research
in the areas of sensor performance models, wavefront sensing and control, bioelectronics,
nanotechnology, and knowledge engineering.
In collaboration with technology partners at the Army Research Laboratory, the Army's
Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate, and the Office of Naval Research,
the Center is uniquely qualified to research and develop future military imaging systems.

The Career Award is the most prestigious award junior faculty members can receive from the NSF. |
