Egyptology Lunchtime Lectures

Join us this fall for a series of lunchtime lectures on ancient Egypt


Dr. Lorelei Corcoran, Director of the Institute of Egyptian Art and Archaeology, Dr. Nigel Strudwick, Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History, Department of Art, and Dr. Patricia Podzorski, IEAA Curator of Egyptian Art, will present lectures on Egyptological topics as part of a series of talks by University of Memphis Art History faculty.

Presented in conjunction with an exhibition of art work by Art Department faculty, these events celebrate the opening of the Martha and Robert Fogelman Galleries of Contemporary Art.

These free public lectures will take place on the campus of the University of Memphis and begin at 11:30 a.m.

All lectures begin at 11:30 am


Pay parking ($2.00 per hour, credit card required) is available in the Fogelman Garage (PG-1 on map), across the street from the FedEx Institute (most convenient for lectures in the Art & Communication or Communication & Fine Arts buildings).
