This course is designed as an introduction to the rhetoric and style of documents
written by technical writers. This class is taught fully online, and we will experiment with communicating with
a variety of online genres, like blogs, wikis, web pages, pdfs, images, and podcasts.
You will also practice writing reports, proposals, manuals, and other communications.
You will improve your ability to write fluently and persuasively while strengthening
and developing your awareness of audience, tone, style, and syntax. By the end of the course, you will have learned to write and communicate for professional
workplaces.
