Academic Summary

Dr. Stanchevici studies the rhetorics of science, public health, and totalitarianism. He is especially interested in tracing how rhetoric helps scientific and technical communication to grapple with uncertainty and to perform the ideological function of identity formation. Dr. Stanchevici teaches a variety of courses in professional writing, composition, and rhetoric, such as Persuasive Writing, Engineering Communication, Document Design, and Rhetoric of Science.
