The Department of English currently offers two exciting degree options for students
interested in studying online. Students may pursue a BA in English with a concentration
in either African American Literature or Professional Writing.
There are many advantages to studying online at the University of Memphis. If you
would like more information about our online degree programs, including basic technical
requirements, please consult the University of Memphis eCampus.
Degree requirements include the major requirements in addition to General Education and other
academic requirements set by the University of Memphis. See the Undergraduate Catalog for more information.
One advantage of our online degree program is your access to our Department's undergraduate
academic advisor, Ms Laura Wright. She will guide you through the degree requirements through personal meetings on
campus if you are in the Memphis area and want to speak with someone face-to-face
or through a variety of electronic options, including Skype, Gchat and telephone.
Please see our undergraduate advising page for more information about scheduling your appointment with the advisor today.
