Can we take a museum relic off your hands? The University of Memphis is sponsoring a major electronic equipment recycling effort that will allow the public; U of M faculty, staff, and students; and local institutions, such as small businesses and hospitals, to turn in old electronic equipment for recycling. The event provides an opportunity to dispose of unwanted computer equipment in a convenient and environmentally friendly manner. There is no cost for the service and no limit to the number of items that can be dropped off. Professional movers will be onsite to handle unloading the equipment. All dropped off equipment, including computer hard drives, will be ground to confetti. Recycling services courtesy of Apple Computer, Inc.
