Faculty members at the University of Memphis have contributed to the discipline of engaged scholarship in multiple ways. Engaged research produces a wide variety of scholarly products that reflect the diverse impacts made through community-based projects. Much of this scholarship is interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary and represents the complex relationships developed during engaged research. Partnerships Strengthen CommunitiesMany faculty members have received Strengthening Communities Initiative grants since the program began in 2008.
