Program objectives are:

1. ability to apply advanced knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering principles to the solution of practical engineering problems;

2. meet or exceed the needs and expectations of public and private sector employers for M.S. graduates; and

3. preparation to pursue additional advanced studies if so desired.
