In this two-day course, attendees will be introduced to Cultural Intelligence and
how it can be enhanced to help today’s managers and executives work more effectively
with business partners from around the world, as well as with their own global organizations
and multicultural work teams.

Who Should Attend?
Managers, knowledge workers, and HR professionals interested in improving their understanding
of culture and its importance in managing and working with international employees,
workgroups, business partners, and/or customers.
Faculty: Balaji Krishnan, Ph.D.
Dr. Balaji C. Krishnan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and
Supply Chain Management in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University
of Memphis. Balaji’s research interests are in the area of pricing and price promotions,
branding and brand equity, cross cultural issues in marketing, and services marketing.
He has published in the Journal of International Management, Journal of Retailing,
Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of Business Research, International
Marketing Review, and Journal of Services Marketing. His research has included scale
development, survey research and experimental research. He currently teaches in the
doctoral program, undergraduate program, graduate program, International MBA program
and the Executive MBA program. Dr. Krishnan has been involved in Executive Education
in the Mid-south area for several years.
