The admission process to the Executive MBA Health-System Pharmacy Program is highly selective. Participants must make a serious commitment to the program and have the support of their company and family since program requirements are very rigorous.

Candidates for the University of Memphis Executive MBA Health-System Pharmacy Program must complete the following requirements in order to be considered for admission:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree (entry-level pharmacy), PharmD or advanced professional degree from an accredited college or university,

• Official transcripts from all academic institutions must be submitted.

• Letter of support from your company. Independent professionals should submit letters explaining their individual situation. Click here to download a sample support letter.

• Satisfactory score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE).* GMAT Requirement will be waived for individuals who already have an Advanced degree. PCAT score will be accepted in lieu of GMAT or GRE scores.

• Complete the University of Memphis Application for Graduate Admission and submit the $35 application fee.

• Complete the Executive MBA Health-System Pharmacy Application for Admission. Click here to download the application.

• Possess strong oral and written communication skills

• Current resume

• All qualified applicants must participate in a personal or telephone interview, which will be scheduled after all other application requirements are completed.

We are now accepting applications for the Class entering in Fall of 2011, interviews begin in Summer 2011. Although the deadline for admission to the Executive MBA Health-System Pharmacy Program is June 30, 2011, this is a rolling admissions program; therefore, applicants are highly encouraged to apply early to secure a place in the class. Classes will begin August 2011.
