Each fall we invite University of Memphis faculty to sign up on our Experts List.
We are asking faculty to please sign up by October 25.
Note that your submissions will go through an approval process with your dean after
October 25. Your submissions, therefore, will not be immediately viewable at the time
the information is provided.

About the Expert:
Dr. Lee Allen is an Associate Professor of Instruction & Curriculum Leadership, and Coordinator for the School Library Information Specialist Program. Dr. Allen served as Assistant Superintendent for Technology Services in the Dallas Independent School District, and as the Director of Instructional Technology and Library Services in the Santa Fe Public Schools. Dr. Allen served as the project manager for a successful $30.3 million Oracle ERP implementation in the Dallas school district. Dr. Allen's primary research interests are: Technology as a vehicle for institutional and organizational change, online teaching & learning, electronic portfolio development, and situated learning and communities of practice. In 2010 Dr. Allen received a Fulbright International Scholar award and served as Guest Lecturer in Ukraine. He is the Principal Investigator for a $500K Institute of Museum & Library Services Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian research grant, and has been an educational technology advisor on numerous federal grants and state education department program evaluations. Dr. Allen currently serves as the Technology Team Director for the West TN STEM Hub/Collaboratory initiative.
