About the Expert: Dr. Lee Allen is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Design and Technology, and Special Assistant to the Chair of the Instruction and Curriculum Leadership Department for Online Learning and Technology Integration. Dr. Allen has also served as a school district assistant superintendent for technology in Dallas, TX, and as a technology administrator in Santa Fe, NM. Dr. Allen served as the project manager for a successful $30.3 million Oracle ERP implementation in the Dallas school district.rnrnDr. Allen's primary research interests are technology as a vehicle for organizational/institutional change, online learning (eLearning), electronic portfolio development, and situated learning and communities of practice. Courses currently taught include School Change and the Internet and Computers, Technology, Learning and the Classroom.
