The ad hoc Faculty Grievance Committee is a creation of the Faculty Senate and reports to the Faculty Senate and to the President of the University. Establishment of the Ad hoc Faculty Grievance Committee is in the faculty interest and augments university policy, UM 1564 (Grievance Process and Conflict Resolution), the office of the Faculty Ombudsperson, and the Committee on Academic Freedom and Responsibility.
