At its meeting this afternoon, the University of Memphis Faculty Senate
approved the following motion by unanimous voice vote:
“The University of Memphis Faculty Senate endorses the objectives
outlined in the Position
Paper on Higher Education approved by the Association of Tennessee
University Faculty Senates (TUFS) at its August 2009 meeting and supports
careful evaluation of the proposed recommendations for improving the
structure of higher education in the state of Tennessee.”
