Corporate Risk Taking and Reward Structures
A researcher at the Fogelman College of Business & Economics is investigating the
determinants of corporate risk taking. Specifically, the project will focus on the
impact of equity stakes, options, and salary.
The project will include the testing of hypotheses regarding the different effects
on lagged firm risk of common stock, at-the-money options, in-the-money options, and
salary of senior executives of publicly traded companies.
