As part of their annual residential week held in Pickwick, Tennessee, The University
of Memphis Executive MBA students had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Linda Goodspeed,
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, and Mr. Gary Scott, Director of IT Finance, both of ServiceMaster. This event took place on Ms. Goodspeed’s houseboat near Pickwick
Landing State Park in Pickwick, Tennessee. Companies represented in the Executive
MBA Program include FedEx, ALSAC, General Electric, Smith & Nephew, Buckman, LeBonheur
Children’s Hospital, Methodist University Hospital, Evergreen Packaging, Clear Channel,
Pfizer, MAA, Sonoco, Expeditors International, Caesars Entertainment, the Shelby County
Government, Cardinal Health NPS, Exel Inc., Healthy Memphis Common Table, Delta Medical
Center, Lehman-Roberts, Orion Federal Credit Union, W.M. Barr, SFI, and Omnicare Pharmaceutical.
As part of their EMBA coursework, students experience two domestic residential weeks
during the 17-month program. These two weeks are structured to provide executives
with a dynamic blend of knowledge, skills, and tools to help them perform in a globally
competitive environment while earning six total credit hours toward their degree.
