SOA Professor Wins Best Paper Award

Dr. Shana Hong, an Assistant Professor in the School of Accountancy, has received the Best Paper Award from the 2012 Financial Markets & Corporate Governance Conference. The paper, titled "Price Discovery in the Corporate Bond Market: The Informational Role of Short Interest," placed first out of 92 papers submitted. Hong authored the paper along with Paul A. Griffin of the University of California-Davis.
