Fogelman College Professor Wins Outstanding Research Paper Award

Jeffrey Thieme, Associate Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain Management in the Fogelman College, has been honored for his research contribution to a major journal.

This year the Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM) initiated a new award category:  the JPIM Thomas P. Hustad Best Paper Award for Outstanding Professional Contribution.  This award honors articles that make an extraordinary contribution to the state of research in the new products management profession.  This award will not necessarily be awarded every year, but only on occasion when an article deserves special merit in this category.  This year there are two winning papers in this category: "Twenty Years of the Journal of Product Innovation Management: History, Participants and Knowledge Stock and Flows" by Wim Biemans, Abbie Griffin, and Rudy Moenaert, and "The World's Top Management Scholars and Their Social Capital" by Jeff Thieme.
