Three Fogelman College Professors Recognized for Excellence in Teaching

Dr. John Amis, Associate Professor of Management in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics, is one of four recipients of the University of Memphis 2008-09 Distinguished Teaching Award.

These annual awards, sponsored by the University of Memphis Alumni Association, recognize excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Two other Fogelman College faculty members, Dr. K. K. Fung, Professor of Economics and Dr. Doug Campbell, Instructor of Economics, were finalists for the awards this year.

Distinguished Teaching Award recipients receive individual plaques and awards at the annual Faculty Convocation in the spring. Winners' photographs are displayed in the Administration Building next to the large plaque honoring all those who have previously received the award.
