First Annual Fogelman Promise Day

Fogelman Promise Day is set for Thursday, April 15 in the FCBE courtyard. The event will take place from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Fogelman Promise Day is going to be a celebration of the Fogelman Promise Initiative. The mission of the Initiative is to holistically develop students that are well-suited for society. Programs under the initiative include Toastmaster's, Etiquette training, Student Code of Professionalism, the 4C's (communication, creativity, critical thinking and emotional control), Wellness and much more. Each person is encouraged to make a commitment to themselves: to do their best, to make positive contributions, and to strive to achieve their full potential in both their professional and personal lives. The Fogelman Promise Day will provide an experience that promotes the Fogelman College of Business & Economics in a positive way that intensifies student, alumni, staff, faculty, and community bonding. An additional objective of Fogelman Promise day is to create an opportunity for students to participate in meaningful traditions, creating fond memories that will be sustained after graduation and thereby encouraging life-long affiliation with the Fogelman College of Business & Economics.

Everyone who attends will be treated to great food and drinks, a Fogelman College polo shirt, and live entertainment from the Memphis Snake Doctors and Rockin' Robin's Djs. Student organizations, Fogelman College Representatives, and prominent Alumni will also be in attendance. In addition, we will have a special guest - Tom III, our live tiger mascot.
