Jiang Wins Outstanding Article Award

An article penned by Dr. Christine Jiang, professor and interim chair of Fogelman’s Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate, has been selected for an Outstanding Article Award by the Journal of Financial Research (JFR). The article was one of only three pieces chosen for the award from the journal’s 2011 content.

The article, “The Choice of Trading Venue and Relative Price Impact of Institutional Trading: ADRs Versus the Underlying Securities in Their Local Markets,” was published in the journal’s Winter 2011 edition. Jiang authored the article along with Sugato Chakravarty of Purdue University and Chiraphol N. Chiyachantana of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University.

The Outstanding Article Award includes a cash prize, recognition in the journal and an announcement on the JFR, Wiley and Financial Economics Network (FEN) websites.
