FCBE MBA Students Compete in Case Competition
For release: February 2, 2012
Hilton Worldwide has invited a selected number of nationally-accredited MBA Programs,
including the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business & Economics (FCBE),
to participate in the "2012 MBA Case Challenge" competition. This will see our MBA
students competing against their counterparts at institutions such as Georgetown University,
University of Virginia, University of Maryland and George Washington University. The
judging panel selected by Hilton Worldwide will choose a winning team from each University
initially. Subsequently, winning teams from each competing university will present
their winning project portfolio to the corporate leadership at Hilton Worldwide's
headquarters in McLean, VA, in March 2012. Several MBA teams from the College’s Professional,
Customer-Driven, and International MBA Programs are taking part. Professor Albert
A. Okunade from the Department of Economics is coordinating the effort that involves
twenty-five Fogelman MBA students.
