FCBE Alumna Promoted to Vice President of Brand Engagement Marketing at FedEx

DMonica Skipper, BBA and MBA alumna of Fogelman College, has recently been promoted to the role of Vice President of Brand Engagement Marketing at FedEx Services. Through her service in a variety of leadership roles within the company, most recently as Director, Skipper has overseen the business efforts of FedEx to ensure that its brand experiences are consistently outstanding. Skipper is also a recipient of the FedEx Five Star Award and serves as a member of The Conference Board's Brand Council.

In her new role, Skipper will be responsible for the oversight of developing and executing FedEx advertising, brand, sponsorship, interactive marketing, and digital promotion strategies. As a widely respected expert in the field of Brand Management, Skipper's promotion will provide her with increased opportunities engage her colleagues with the collaborative, energetic leadership style for which she is well known.

"I really enjoyed my time at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. The teachers and courses exposed me to a variety of marketing disciplines that I had not previously known even existed," said Skipper. "I found my passion for advertising and branding while enrolled in FCBE classes, and I feel blessed to live my passion and use my education every day. My advice to students is to find your passion and pursue it relentlessly. If you do, your job will never feel like work."
