Fogelman Promise Day is set for Thursday, April 15 in the FCBE courtyard. The event will take place from 11:00am – 2:00pm and 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Fogelman Promise day will bring together students, staff, faculty, alumni, administrators and community members in a celebration of the Fogelman Promise Initiative outlined by Dean Rajiv Grover elsewhere in the newsletter.
Fogelman Promise Day is part of the broader Fogelman Promise Initiative, so called because each person is encouraged to make a commitment to themselves: to do their best, to make positive contributions, and to strive to achieve their full potential in both their professional and personal lives. The purpose of the day is to provide an experience that promotes positive feelings about the Fogelman College of Business & Economics and intensifies the relationships among students, staff, faculty, and the College’s other various stakeholders. An additional objective of Fogelman Promise day is to create an opportunity for students to participate in meaningful traditions, creating fond memories that will be sustained after graduation, thereby encouraging life-long affiliation with the Fogelman College of Business & Economics. The event will involve live entertainment, food, and various social activities. All attendees will receive a Fogelman College polo shirt. Tom III, the University’s live tiger mascot, will also be with us.
