The Fogelman College offers several innovative Master of Science in Business Administration degree programs that are pertinent to the Memphis community. This edition of the Fogelman Flash e-Newsletter features the MSBA in Real Estate degree program, with its integrative, professionally-oriented graduate curriculum in real estate. This concentration fulfills the need for a specialization in real estate that is beyond the scope of the traditional MBA program. It also provides a more focused / interdisciplinary real estate degree program through its multi-discipline options.
The program addresses the wide range of issues and methods associated with conceiving, financing, completing and marketing real estate projects in today’s economic and regulatory environment. Graduates will join the small number of students who have completed similar innovative programs which are at the forefront of professional education in real estate. The program is unique because it has no required prerequisites before entering.
Unlike any other program in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, students will be given the opportunity to take graduate work in areas such as Architecture; Civil Engineering; City, Regional Planning and Urban Ecology. Therefore, the program is especially well suited for professionals from other careers, as well as undergraduate students in one of the above programs who would like a graduate degree in real estate, but would still like to take graduate work in their undergraduate degree field.
Our graduates work as entrepreneurs, developers, contractors, brokers, appraisers, investors, financiers, mortgage brokers, legal professionals, planners and policy makers throughout the real estate industry.
