The Fogelman College of Business & Economics has numerous scholarship opportunities
available to our undergraduate students.
The following information pertains to private scholarships awarded only to students
majoring in business. Students interested in applying for university-wide scholarships
should contact the Scholarship Office at http://www.memphis.edu/financialaid/ or in person at 107 Wilder Tower.

Scholarship awardees will be notified by email on or before August 1st, 2013.

If you do not receive a scholarship the first time you apply, you are still encouraged
to reapply the next year.

Awarding of any scholarship depends upon the availability of funds.

Assuming you meet the requirements you may apply for more than one scholarship, but
you must submit a completed application form for each individual scholarship. Photocopies
of completed applications are acceptable.

Eligibility for needs based scholarships is determined by the information provided
on the SAR (Student Aid Report). Obtain this form by completing the FAFSA (Free Application
For Federal Student Aid - http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/).

DO NOT ATTACH a transcript, resume, reference letter, or any other supporting documentation unless
additional information is requested in the scholarship criteria.

If you do not meet the requirements or fail to complete all sections of the application,
you will be eliminated from the selection process.

Students should display a solid academic performance in their undergraduate courses.
-
Along with your application you will need to submit a resume and a personal statement.
In your personal statement, please share how your academic achievements, career goals,
skills and experience make you the best candidate for the scholarship. Personal statements
should be approximately two pages, double spaced.

We will accept either GMAT or GRE scores on scholarship applications.
Current & prospective students should return the completed application to the FCBE
Undergraduate Advising Office between February 1 and March 1, 2013. The FCBE Undergraduate Advising Office is open from M-F 8:00-4:30.
