The FedEx Institute hosted the 3rd Memphis Research and Innovation Expo on October 3. The FedEx Institute lobby was filled with 26 booths of research from University of Memphis departments and colleges as well as from local research-oriented organizations. Morning speakers were counter terrorism expert Philip Mudd and Procter & Gamble CEO A.G. Lafley. The afternoon session featured a panel of local entrepreneurs who discussed launching a high-growth startup in Memphis.
