About the 2017 Class
Applicants from the corporate community, government, non-profits and academia work together to engage in human-centered innovation and design, tackling real-world issues. Guided by experienced facilitators, teams go into the field to develop prototype-driven creative solutions, working through a complete design cycle in just three days. The mission of the MIB is to create a network of innovators who produce human-centered solutions that positively transform lives, communities and businesses.
This year MIB is pleased to partner with Innovate Memphis to help apply the innovations developed during the course. Innovate Memphis brings together government, business and community leaders to develop and deliver new solutions to some of Memphis's most pressing challenges. Originally funded as the Mayor's Innovation Delivery Team by Bloomberg Philanthropies, we follow the innovation playbook developed by the Bloomberg program. Innovate Memphis specializes in public/private partnerships that produce new ideas and enduring change. Our current work includes initiatives in Emergency Medical Services, Blight, Youth Gun Violence, Solid Waste Delivery, and Transportation and Mobility.
GoNimble by Lokion provides a variety of value-driven consulting, training and delivery services to jumpstart, enhance and support human-centered value driven innovation processes and implementation methods, so you stay competitive in the chaos of constantly evolving technology and game-changing disruptors.
