SAS Training Information

Prior to Class

  • Create a SAS Profile
    • This step may be skipped if you already have a SAS Profile
    • Visit www.sas.com
    • Select Sign In at the top right of the screen
    • Select Create Profile
    • Enter the appropriate information
    • Select Create Profile to finish

Technical Specifications

All SAS classes are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Your device must have the following specifications:

Operating System

  • Windows 10 Note: Receiver for Windows 4.3 has been tested on Windows 10 (build 10108)
  • Windows 8.1, 32-bit and 64-bit editions (including Embedded Edition)
  • Windows 8, 32-bit and 64-bit editions (including Embedded Edition)
  • Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit editions (including Embedded Edition)
  • Windows Vista, 32-bit and 64-bit editions
  • OSX Mountain Lion and newer

Browser Support

  • Internet Explorer (varies per OS, typically limited by Operating System) Connections to Receiver for Web or to Web Interface support the 32-bit mode of Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox 18.x (minimum supported version)
  • Safari

FedEx Institute of Technology will provide an onsite support person to assist in course setup and logistics on the first day of each training.
