Professional Real Estate Certificate

The Fogelman College of Business and Economics offers a Professional Real Estate Certificate at the University of Memphis that consists of the following six classes:

Real Estate:

• FIR 3310 - Real Estate Principles
• FIR 4310 - Real Estate Law
• FIR 4320 - Real Estate Finance
• FIR 4340 - Real Estate Appraisal
• FIR 4350 - Real Estate Investment

Finance:

• FIR 3410 - Business Finance

All classes are available on campus as well as online

Each class is offered a minimum of once a year on campus and once a year online

Online classes have the same coverage, rigor, and follow the same time schedule as the University of Memphis

The Certificate can be completed within one year

The Certificate can be completed totally on campus, online or a combination of face-to-face and online classes

Program is independent of any University of Memphis degree program - all that is required is for you to be admitted as a non-degree student at the University

For Certificate students who are non-business degree, there are no prerequisites required

To receive the Certificate, all courses need to be taken through the University of Memphis - no transfer credit is accepted for these six classes

We are currently arranging for continuing education credit for these classes / certificate from different real estate organizations
