La Mesa Española (The Spanish Table)
This conversation group meets to allow students an extra opportunity to practice Spanish

The goal of the club is to have a casual setting for people to be exposed to Spanish
language and culture. The club is open to al Spanish speakers, including students

Sigma Delta Pi (Hispanic Honorary Society)

The Spanish Flamenco classes are one of the many exciting activities organized at

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures sponsors a Language Fair for high
school students every spring, featuring contests, performances, and career information.
Spanish students are urged to attend and help judge and coordinate activities. For

Castaños Spanish Teachers invites all applicants for a part-time Preschool
Spanish Teacher position. The successful candidate will be expected to
travel to designated preschools and provide classroom instruction at the
Pre-K level and participate in monthly staff meetings. Applicants must be
able to work between the hours of 8:30a.m. - 12:00p.m.
Bachelors Degree preferred but not required. Applicants who have not
obtained a Bachelors Degree must be currently enrolled in a degree seeking
program. Applicants must have at least intermediate college level Spanish
fluency and literacy skills. In addition applicants MUST have dependable
transportation. Experience is preferred but not required. We are looking
for an energetic person who is eager to learn, has a positive
child-friendly attitude and a passion for education. All applicant MUST
like working with young children.
Pay rate: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
