C08: Mythology

Thousands of years after they were recorded, the myths and epics of Greece, Rome, and the East still influence the way we understand our world. This community combines courses in English, history, and classical mythology to illuminate the hold these stories have on our imagination. We will use visual references to myths found in art and architecture, and explore how myths are interpreted through film, theatre, and music.
