C31:Lessons from the Past
"What can we learn from the past?" Do we as humans make the same mistakes over and
over again, or do we learn from our past mistakes, as well as our successes? Through
archaeology and history we are presented with a bewildering array of information,
but how much of it is relevant for our modern society. When knowledge of the past
is relevant, why do we choose to ignore it? We will read about past cultures and
discuss their failures and their message to us through the immense void of time.
