Law and Order

A society's sense of law and order is central to its identity. It underlies the very structuring of laws, and therefore behavior in groups and as individuals. This community will explore politics and the views of other nations with different legal systems and different concepts of "order."

  • CJUS 1100 - Intro to Criminal Justice
  • POLS 1102- Introduction to Modern Political Thought

How To Register

Fresh Connections learning communities are available in the Fall semester to first-time, full-time freshmen.

Enrollment is limited to 25 students per learning community. In some classes you will attend lectures with a larger group of students, but you and the professors will know the members of your community in the class. Instructors will be working together to coordinate their classes and your assignments around the theme of the community.

Talk to your academic advisor about registering for a Fresh Connections Learning Community! They will assist you in selecting a community that is right for you and your plan of study. Your advisor will help you in obtaining the necessary permits to register for a Fresh Connections Learning Community.
