Spring Fever and Snow Days
Sure, I know that I've already dedicated an entire article (if not more than one) to spring fever. Yet, something funny happened the other day. It snowed two and a half inches at my house in northern Madison County. I happened to be home, due to an extended Easter holiday, and I could not go to class. I felt silly as I called my professors to tell them I could not be at class because of snow. Who would believe a snow day in the middle of April? Well, I guess it was lucky April 13th. It snowed until about 2 p.m. that day, and by 4:30 p.m. the snow had all melted away. It's hard to have spring fever when you have a snow day from class. So, needless to say I decided to head back soon after the snow melted. I did not want to chance any more weather phenomenons.
Now, here I am back at school. It's Wednesday and I go home on Thursday, because I don't have class on Fridays and work back at home on the weekends. I feel out of sorts and as if this week will be spent more on catching up. I have to catch up on the work I missed because final exams are just around the corner, which I am very excited about (not the finals part) and summer is almost here. I had to catch up on my email account, because I don't have Internet at home and email is a main source of communication for me. I have a few kinks to work out on my class schedule for Maine because the few classes offered filled up too quick. I guess I got spoiled with so many class selections here at The University of Memphis. Even though I am ready for the summer, I truly want to finish the school year strong and make good grades. What I do right now counts a lot towards my overall grade. Also, I don't want to wish it away too quickly because I'm going to miss all of my friends from Memphis this summer. The last thing I'm catching up on is posting pictures. It's been awhile since I've posted any pictures, or good ones, and my friends and family really want to see some. Besides, I'm running out of room in my camera.
So, since not much else is going on this school week of two days for me, I'll use the rest of this entry to post pictures. Well, have a wonderful week. I hope everyone is hanging in there, through spring fever and even snow days. God Bless.

Here are my friends Ben and Thom. Yes, Thom does is sporting the fashionable mullet. My friends are wierd, but I guess it takes one to know one.

My Campus Crusade group hosted a "Taco Night" on the Honors Floor in Richardson Towers North. As Diane says, "You love tacos and we love you!"

Andrea and April are busy (?) serving up some yummy tacos.

Virginia brought in the only (lucky) guy to eat tacos.

Finally, someone gets a picture of Diane (notice the camera in hand). Diane and Monica take a moment to pose.

Sydney, as you can tell, is estatic about the free food.

On a trip back to campus, my little sis decided to take a self-portrait. Pose and it will be posted online.

My Campus Crusade group went to Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street. We went to listen to Todd Agnew, a local christian artist, perform. Todd Agnew also performs weekly at The Loop at Crichton College, Tuesday Nights. We weren't allowed to take flash photos of the band, but I got one with my friend Nathan's mouth open. OK, so maybe the flash was on?

Here is Jason, up to no good. Just kidding, the guys were seperated from the rest of the guys and were just holding there own against all the girls (not they minded).

Andrea "Andy" makes the monkey face for the camera. We're such "party animals".

I finally located the rest of our group across the restaurant (It was packed!) and they pose for their mug shot.

Andrea and Jeremy take a break from eating their fajitas (and dancing) to cheese it up.

Meena, me, and Andrea take a picture. Yes, my hair is now very short.
