Back to school
Wow, the Spring semester is already here, I can remember the first time I came to the U of M. My break was pretty fun. I mostly spent time with my family on Christmas, relaxed and did whatever I wanted to do. I did do a couple of things though. I went back to some of my old high school basketball games. It was weird watching from the stands though. One year ago, I could remember being in a red and white jersey myself playing out there to. It made me want to suit up and start playing again. It was pretty nice seeing all of my friends back in Clarksville, TN. We hung out and talked about school and the usual stuff. I mostly saw them at the basketball games I went to.
Christmas day was fun. Family I haven’t seen in a while came in from out of town. We ate dinner and opened presents, it was pretty fun - the gift opening of course.
I also went to the Titans game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which they won 33-13. Of course I hate it that they are not in the Superbowl this year, but they will have another chance next year. I am a Titans fan no matter what, win or lose.
The most fun I had was probably the New Orleans Bowl against North Texas. The best part about it was having all of the fans there in New Orleans. We had three times as more fans than North Texas had. If you walked down the streets, you were bound to run into a Tiger fan sooner or later. The game was great, we jumped out to a quick seven point lead in the first quarter. We didn’t fall behind once throughout the game. North Texas had a good team, but they weren’t good enough, and Memphis won their first bowl game in 32 years. Go Tigers!
