Time for Thanksgiving Break
It's November 24 and Thanksgiving Break is already here. I can remember the first week of the semester, and now it's basically over with final exams coming up in the early part of December. I have really enjoyed my first semester here at the U of M, meeting new people and experiencing new things.
First I would like to apologize about not updating my diaries over the past few weeks, I have gotten caught up in a lot of work. So I will try to shorten a few things.
Everything in ROTC has been going really well. We are starting to wind down for the semester and prepare for the spring semester. This past Thursday, we had our last leadership lab for the semester. We grilled out and hung around and talked about things we were going to do over Thanksgiving Break.
Things in marching band will officially come to a close when the Tigers go to the bowl game. After the bowl game our season will be over, so we still have the South Florida game and that game to go to. Our band banquet was last Saturday, and I really had a good time. We are all gonna miss the seniors that are leaving this year. Good luck in the future guys.
Also I would like to congratulate the Tiger football team on their successful season. They have really played well and I’m looking forward to next year.
Now the part I am really thinking about, Thanksgiving Break. Food, food, food, that’s the only thing I am thinking about. Going to Wendy’s, Burger King, and Captain D’s has gotten old. I just want a good home cooked meal instead of fast food. I am also looking forward to seeing my relatives that are coming in from out of town. I am going to leave Wednesday after my last class and am coming back Saturday morning to perform with the band at the South Florida game. My weekend is cut a little short, but after finals I will be back at home anyway. I will do a freshman diaries entry when I get back.
