Interfraternity Council Recruitment council

Find out more about Interfraternity Council!

The fraternity recruitment process is designed to give chapter members and potential members a fair and equal opportunity to become acquainted as friends. Events are held at chapter houses or designated locations. As you travel from location to location during the week remember to find the place where you feel most comfortable and visit as many chapters as possible. The recruitment process is about making new friends, so relax, be yourself, and most of all, have fun. Have questions? Contact Aidan Porter, IFC Vice President of Recruitment - aporter5@memphis.edu.

Fill out the IFC Recruitment Interest Form here, and we'll contact you with ways to get connected to fraternity life.

Join us for IFC-Sponsored Recruitment Weeks, September 8-19! These weeks will offer interested men opportunities to meet all IFC fraternities and learn what fraternity membership is all about - academics, service, social, leadership, and more. Stay tuned for an update with the fall calendar.

What is the best part of Greek life at Memphis?

"The best part of Greek Life at Memphis is that it is not what I thought Greek Life was going to be. I was the guy in high school that vowed to never join a fraternity, but the chapters here at the U of M are different. Chapters are focusing on member development and concerning themselves with making better men. It is the ultimate way to make the college experience, but to better yourself in a positive way at the same time."

Derek Miller, Senior
Interfraternity Council
Criminology/Criminal Justice Major
