Official Homepage for the UN. Contains excellent information and direct links to official publications such as General Assembly resolutions from 1981 and Security Council Resolutions from 1974. No keyword searching is available.

United Nations Information Centers
Comprehensive link to UN Web Sites and other related organizations. This unofficial list, provided for the convenience of the Drug Control Programme Staff, is actually easier to navigate and the links are more comprehensive that at the official UN site. Includes statistical information and full-text publications. Also includes keyword searching of General Assembly Documents and Resolutions. Provides among others, links to:

Permanent Missions to the United Nations
Official site for the permanents missions. Contains visa information, mission directory, biographies, and country profiles. Each country is responsible for their own page.

Organization of American States
The Homepage for the OAS. contains useful full-text copies of General Assembly and Permanent Council Resolutions for 1994 and 1996, as well as press releases, statements, speeches, and newspaper articles concerning the OAS. Also includes a list of treaties with brief abstracts and includes signatories and date of signature. Later treaties are full-text. Each member nation has an individual page containing specific information and links.

European Union
A WWW server offering information on the European Union's goals and policies. Includes some full-text publications of Green and White papers. Excellent for information about the EU. Also provides links to European member states Web pages.

World Health Organization
Excellent information about the agency and includes many full-text publications such as the World Health Report (Executive Summary) and the Weekly Epidemiological Record. Direct access to WHO Statistical Information System.

World Bank
Link to World Bank information and publications. Contains many full-text publications and abstracts of many more. Subject areas include economic, environment, and some social information.

North Atlantic Treaty Organization
Contains excellent information about NATO and its activities. Includes press releases, transcripts, the NATO Handbook, and full-text of the NATO Review.

International Monetary Fund
Contains full-text copies of press releases, speeches, and IMF information.Also contains publication summaries.

World Trade Organization
The World Trade Organization is a new international organization that administers and implements multilateral and plurilateral trade agreements. It also oversees national trade policies and cooperates with other international institutions involved in global economic policy-making. Excellent full-text, country-specific trade and economic policy reviews are available on this site, as well as press releases, and ordering information for other WTO publications.

Excellent starting place containing annotated listings of comprehensive sites. Includes NAFTA, NATO, European Union, WTO, and GATT, among others.

The Multilaterals Project Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University
The Fletcher School began this project in 1992 and maintains access to international multilateral conventions, protocols, and international covenants, and the "world's most complete collection of intellectual property agreements (filed under "Trade and Commercial Relations"). Instruments are arranged chronologically and also by subject. Search engine is available.
