So, you want to be an engineer?  The entire world will thank you.  When you become an engineer or technologist, you gain more than just a profession.  It's your opportunity to shape the world.  Just look around.  Almost everything we see or touch was designed, enhanced, made better, made stronger or made safer by an engineer.  What will your generation of engineers do that will leave the world in awe?  The possibilities are endless.  There's no telling what your fertile imagination will dream up and that's why you belong in engineering.  The Herff College of Engineering challenges students to plunge forward into the cutting-edge technologies of tomorrow.  Here, imagination and creativity are your obsessions.

Now the question is, which area is the one for you?  The Herff College of Engineering offers 8 undergraduate majors to choose from, 5 in engineering science and 3 in engineering technology.

What's the difference in engineering science and engineering technology?  In simple terms, engineering science programs focus toward advancement of state-of-the-art technologies, whereas engineering technology programs focus on the practical application of state-of-the-art technologies.Just click on the links below to explore these majors.
