Herff Researchers in the Center for Advanced Sensors Investigate Intrusion Detection Sensors for Border and Perimeter Security

As reported on SPIE Newsroom, Herff College of Engineering researchers in the Center for Advanced Sensors are investigating a novel intrusion detector for use in border and perimeter security.  The effort was to collect data for the purposes of discriminating humans, vehicles, and animals, including humans carry backpacks, weapons, etc.
